GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Green Bay Home Show 2026 concluded its run at the Resch Center, drawing more than 100 vendors and connecting community members with professionals specializing in remodeling and landscaping.

Dakota Hicks, event designer with Blue Green Events, said the show gives attendees something online browsing cannot.

“The two biggest things that I like about it personally is — one, you get to talk to a human who kinda knows what they’re talking about. And you get to see and touch the products. Where on the internet you can’t,” Hicks said.

Professionals, education stage draw attendees

Jamal James, reporting for Action 2 News, said the event is the largest home show in the region, giving community members the chance to work with professionals in home improvement fields.

Darrel Lafferty, bath production manager at Rosenow Customs, said customers he met at the show had done a lot of window shopping and expressed concern about high-pressure sales tactics.

“That’s all we want to do and that’s what people are looking for. Just treat them the way that you want to be treated and take respect with their home and their time. That’s what I want to do,” Lafferty said.

An education stage at the event offered guidance to homeowners on topics such as working with general contractors.

“You can sit down and learn. What do you need to do if you’re working with — getting started with a general contractor? What does that look like? As I said, I’m a homeowner and you constantly never know what that’s going to look like and what new surprise you’re going to have,” an attendee said from the education stage.

The show is expected to return to the Resch Center next year, with dates still to be determined.
